2013-18 Hyundai Santa Fe Vent Visors
Installation was a snap. I would have liked a little more in the way of instruction but it was easy to figure out. The packet of "adhesive primer" has a few instructions. Don't know what it is/was but I had enough to apply two coats. I used denatured alcohol to wipe down the area where the vents were to be installed just to make sure there was not any wax on that area. Then the "primer", two coats, then while holding the two ends, positioned the ends on the door and applied pressure. Went back later after the day had gotten hotter and applied more pressure over the whole area where the adhesive tape was located on the back of the vents. Would NOT try to install in cold weather unless you heat up the area with a hair dryer or heat gun. And always use a good solvent to clean the area where you will install the visors. Although they're very nice looking window visors they are extremely noisy and not wide enough to prevent water from getting inside the window. I would not recommend them. |
