Quality of the cross bars looks good. Installation took about 20 mijutes by myself. Most of that time was spent being extra careful in removing the rear keepers. Expect to snap off themtwo rear keeper clips, but the kit comes with four extras. I did the job with a flat head screwdriver (for lifting off the keepers) and a pair of needle nose pliers (for removing the old clips). These bars are easily adjustable without tools or removing anything and seem extremely solid and secure. If you locked something to these racks a thief would have to rip the roof off. My order is currently incomplete. The kit I ordered was to contain (2) cross bar assemblies, and (4) retention cover clips. There were only (3) retention cover clips found in the box. |
